environ is printed as part of <span tal:replace=3D"structure REQUEST"
/>, but it does not contain e.g. the $HTTPS variable (which *is*
present).

Can this be Plone not passing it on? After all, I only have request to
work with. If I try to access REQUEST, I get an error.
