Wrong. It starts in the background but the shell will SIGHUP it when
it finishes, causing the zserver process to exit.
What you want to do instead is:
nohup ./start
which will allow you to exit the shell. You can find all the relevant
output from the ./start script in ./nohup.out (which you can sefely
delete).
