[Zope] Customizing the standard_error_message DTML method

Does anyone know if Zope allows customization of error
messages? In particular, can 'authorization' error
messages be customized? I read somewhere that in
earlier Zope versions customization of authorization
errors was only possible by editing Zope's Python
source code. Is this still the case? Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.
