[Zope] Splitter, Vocabulary and them numbers

So I'm just plain stupid :)
I'm using 2.5.1, so when I add a vocabulary I should some where in the 
management interface be able to choose to index numbers. Is that what 
you are telling me? Or are you telling me that I should add some methods 
to my objects, so the properties are indexed correctly?
