You will find the most current versions on Sourceforge, not on Andy's 
Zope page anymore:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mysql-python

And 2.0.8 is a quite stable release AFAIK. Nothing bad heard about it yet...
BTW, there's a special mailinglist Zope-DB for database related issues.
