While I perfectly share your idea of autogeneration I see no reason to
refuse the work of volunteers to improve the appendix chapters as long
as autogeneration does not work.

And, yes, I think that ZC has done a good job and the documentation
is done by great volunteers.  Thanks to all who provided there spare
time to this project.
