I just joined the list, so I don't know exactly what the question was. But
I too have found the caching in IE to me PITA. I gave up and downloaded the
Firebird Version of Mozilla:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firebird/release-notes.html
It's basically a stripped down version of Mozilla (ie Browser only, no email
or news). It works really well. When you close the browser, it DOES NOT
retain any login information in regards to Zope.

I have MSIE 4 and I have same setting. But if I often visit same page, MSIE
was gone after some time caching too.
Self-intelligent software from Mß :-(( -- I dont like it. Try different
browser if you have some curious errors.
