There are some cases where Zope throws its own Unauthorized errors and 
VerboseSecurity can't intervene.  It's not specific to LDAP.  However, 
some changes made for Zope 2.7 should make it possible to raise a proper 
Unauthorized error in more places, so at least you can expect future 
improvements.
