[Zope] Explosive database growth

We've recently started migrating data from an IIS server and uploaded it to 
our ZOPE CMF which uses OracleStoreage. The IIS data transferred so far is 
about  122mb (est.) our ZOPE Oracle database is suddenly 1.3GB. How does 
122mb turn into 1.3GB and how do I remedy this.
