look like your system is a lot like mine :)

have you already done this ?
you have to move a file (adjust to your directories)

$> mv ~/Zope-2.5.1/psycopgmodule.so ~/Zope.2.5.1/lib/python2.1/lib-dynload/

also i found, that you may use "configure" with additional option 
--with-postgres-libraries (not stated in the FAQ).

check if libpg.so is found in your library path.

$> ldconfig -p | grep libpg

if you dont find the /usr/local/pgsql/lib in your library path try 
something like

$> ldconfig /usr/local/pgsl/lib/
to add the files to the lib-path.
