DirectoryStorage works fine for hot standby, provided:
1. its ok for the secondary to be read-only when it takes over.
2. you dont mind a manual process for moving changes made on the secondary
back onto the primary before bringing it back up.
(if this isnt ok, you are really looking at a multi-master system which, I
think, doesnt exist for zodb yet.)
