[Zope] dtml-var & xhtml

hello,

the dtml-var <dtml-var sequence-query> has
an & when i view its html code.
html specification need this to be &amp; 
and therefore it cannot be validated by the validator
of w3.org
how do i convert the & of the dtml-var sequence-query
to &amp; ?
i tried <dtml-var sequence-query html_quote> but it
did not work....
