[Zope] DCOracle2 slow - what could be the reason?

I know Chris Withers has done some specific work on the internals of
DCOracle2 so may be able to help further.... however is it a performance
issue with DCOracle2 itself, or is it more to do with SQL result sets in
Zope? Displaying/sorting a 40,000 row SQL result set in ZPT, say, is very
expensive. What are you doing to the returned result set in your test?
