[Zope] Enabling * searching in ZCatalog

I have more than a few ZCatalogs and while playing around with them the 
other day, I noticed that a few of them could not search using wild 
cards like "*" and "?", they would return no results.

For the life of me I could not figure out the differences between them 
and the ones that do search with wildcards.

Anyone have a pointer?
