[Zope] which zope version? why two?

Hello,

I'm a newbie to Zope, and am confused why the release of two versions.
2.6.4, 2.7.0

I installed the 2.7, but cannot get the MySQLdb modules to work in this.
They work fine in 2.6.4, but the CPS portal does not wotk.
Everything works fine in the 2.6.3 version.
