[Zope] communication between Zope's now broken

That's pretty vague. What does "not work" mean exactly?
How do you know when it works and when it doesn't?

i'd start by tailing the access log on the production sites and
see if they're even getting the hits.  If so, the HTTP response
code may be a clue.
