[Zope] Zope Newbie ZCatalog question

I have a ZCatalog up and running fine except that
accented characters are being ignored in the indexes.
(Using Zope 2.6.2)

After having trawled through the internet I understand
that if I change the -L option on Zope startup this
should fix my problem. But my site will be in spanish
french and english so which language option do I add
to the -L option ?

Sorry if this trodden ground...I have found a couple
of similar posts but with no solutions.
