[Zope] ExtFile Question

I noticed in the documentation http://zope.org/Members/shh/ExtFile that
I am supposed to set the EXTFILE_STATIC_PATH in the zope start script.
Is the start script in  Zope/Startup/__init__.py and under def
startZope(self) would I insert:
 export EXTFILE_STATIC_PATH=/static

Make sure the user running Zope has write access to
/opt/zope/doucet/static
