Add a VHM to the root of your Zope instance.

Try the following:

Virtual Mapping Host regex: sitename(|.domain.com)(|:80) Destination
prefix: 
http://domain.com:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/domain.com:80/sitename/VirtualHostRoot
