Yes, it is ...

You can do it on Solaris, and Linux 2.6 kernels I believe.

Like I said, I just decided to buy single CPU machines for my Zope's and
void the issue altogether :)

On Linux, there's a way to do it using /proc I think ...

Look for "CPU affinity" on google or something like that, you should find
what you need for your OS.
