[Zope] Text field and module import questions

Greetings,

It appears that the text input field I have created using a dtml method has 
a default space character when you click in the field. Is there a way to get 
rid of this?

Also, I have a python script that I would like to import a python module, 
but when I run it Zope complains the user does not have authorization. Is 
there a way around this?
