[Zope] Zope 2.7 - sporadic service hangup

DeadlockDebugger is your friend...

2.7 is ancient...

> python 2.3.5 on Debian, to access LDAP LDAPUserFolder, ZOracleDA for Oracle Connection.

Problems with either Oracle or your LDAP server could cause these kinds 
of issues...
