Hmm, at this point I would be trying one of two things:
 - You might try undoing the transactions where you added / configureed
   the user folder.
 - Or you might go into the debugger and erase the folder, e.g.:
   $ bin/zopectl debub
   pdb> folder = app.path.to.folder
   pdb> del folder.__allow_groups__
   pdb> del folder.acl_users
   pdb> import transaction
   pdb> transaction.commit()
