That is not working:

 $ easy_install -i http://dist.repoze.org/bfg/current repoze.bfg

You need the -f option, for find-links:

 $ easy_install -f http://dist.repoze.org/bfg/current repoze.bfg
 Searching for repoze.bfg
 Reading http://dist.repoze.org/bfg/current
 Best match: repoze.bfg 1.0
 ...
