Note that e.g. the URLs
http://www.ub.unibe.ch/content/recherche/index_ger.html
http://www.ub.unibe.ch/content/recherche/fachinformationen/index_ger.html
http://www.ub.unibe.ch/content/recherche/fachinformationen/islamwissenschaft/index_ger.html

all return 404 for HEAD but

http://www.ub.unibe.ch/content/index_ger.html
returns 200
