This was checked in as text, which leaves me feeling a little
uncomfortable, though it appears to have survived without problems.  I
think not all PDF files can be handled as text, which is why it leaves
me a bit nervous.

(Those change bars in the headings are weird!  Took a minute to figure
out what they were.)
