If it doesn't, there's a bug somewhere.  ;-)

There are some known bugs in PyXML 0.8.1, but I don't remember how
many of the bug reports came from the Zope community, if any.  I'm
hoping for a new release before Python 2.3 alpha 1, but can't
promise that.
