It's not new, it was there earlier.  We just added a user interface, and
make it a bit more Zope3-ish (you can now specify an interface to adapt
objects to before getting the field).

I'm at the Europython at the moment, and the next talk's about to start,
so perhaps I'll continue later.  But I am definetely not an expert on
indexes, and from what I understand there are plans for a more extensive
indexing and querying framework.  Steve Alexander or Gary Poster could
tell more about it.
