Windows, Windows 98/NT/ME/CE/2000/2003/XP, I hear of Avalon/Longhorn
as names for future .Net based Windows versions. Similar (although not that
many) variations for Office (Office 98/2000/2003).

You can find drastic changes in the technology names (rather than
the product names): e.g. COM, OLE, ActiveX, COM+
