[Zope3-Users] unexpected ':' char in declaration

Can one start a page-template with a *tag* in namespace metal? Thought that only attributes could be in tales / tal / metal namespaces?
Then that would be an error.
Can you have the DOCTYPE definition inside the xml/html? Shouldn't it always be before the root-tag? (long time since I used DOCTYPE anywhere myself, mostly writing xml with schemas, and no html)
This looks a bit suspicious to me, but can't give you a definitive answer.

What IS the root template:
the other template involved besides event.pt is template.pt. Here are
the first few lines:
<metal:block define-macro="page">
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
Is there a error?
Thx,
Florian
