Doctest text files are the first and primary resource for me. Packages
published on PyPI with long_description from README.txt+CHANGES.txt are a
much-appreciated convenience.

I don't find ViewCVS to be great for browsing package sources. Trac or
something similarly capable at launchpad.net/zope providing source
browsing and a commit activity timeline would be helpful.
