[ZPT] ZPT small feature request and next release?

I'd like PageTemplates to render themselves with macros expanded when retrieved via 
FTP. Seems like a simple fix. If the next release is more than 2 weeks away, I'll work on 
a patch.

If the next release is less than 2 weeks away, can this be snuck in?
