so I guess it's missing putting in image_batches after the slash and before
the ?

If type  http://w2m.franklin.edu/zpt_examples/image_batches?b_start=3  in my
browser I do get
the Previous 3 link and images 4, 5 and 6 and the Next 2 link.  But the
previous and next links are still broken as they still give

http://w2m.franklin.edu/zpt_examples/?b_start=6
