[ZPT] Filling multiple macro solts

I am starting to learn ZPT, I have difficult learning the usage of macros.

I read some templates from the CMF, and I was wandering how to fill multiple
slots:

For example, the master macro define several slots :

a top menu slot called hmenu
a side menu slot called vmenu
the header slot called header
the bottom slot call footer
and the content slot called content

I known if you want to change the content slots, you just fill it. But how
do we fill more than one slots from the same macro template? Is it possible?
Do we need to follow the master template's structure?
