This has been talked about before and I thought you had said that un-expand would be 
in a future release (thought that was mentioned last summer, even)

shucks, I was counting on someone at DC to have this zen, I couldn't figure it out.

I've found that I'm putting together pages based on multiple nested macros. Each 
macro is enclosed in a simple <html><head></head><body> .. so that they may 
individually be previewed in the editor.

So unexpanding should probably be a one-off process, not a permanent selection 
because after un-expanding those templates that were accidently expanded, I'd stick 
back in the needed <html><head> stuff.
