[ZPT] i18n in ZPT for Zope2.x ?

I unexpectedly got the assignment of building a multilingual
payment/subscription system, and started looking around for the
i18n-stuff for ZPT, as I've noticed exciting things happening there..

The proposals for the Zope 3 branch look great, and i notice there
have even been a lot of CVS-checkins on this...

- My question is : Are there any I18n options available for the
Zope2.x branch of ZPT yet , or is the entire effort going into Zope3 =3F
