[ZPT] ZPT in Plone

I understand being used to DTML .... But I gave it up a long time ago...

Take a look in <plone site>/portal_skins/plone_content/. Any of the the
pages in there use something similar ... As they do in plone_forms and
several other places.
As to the why ...
Read the Macros section of chapter 13 of the zope book ... it's about
2/3rds of the way down the page. Basically the main_template is what's
called a Whole Page Macro (or simply a page macro).
