We would like to invite you to attend the 2nd Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) Program this April 16 up to May 28, 2005 at the University of Asia and the Pacific. The CAT Program is a globally recognized program of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia that grants the CAT title to successful professionals here and abroad.
What is an 'Accounting Technician'?
Accounting Technician is a new terminology in the Philippine marketplace but is widely used in Australia and the United
Kingdom to identify a range of accounts or bookkeeping occupations working in all industries and sectors. An Accounting Technician carries out valuable accounting and related jobs. They work at all levels from account clerks to financial controllers. They work in all industries and sectors and in organizations large and small. In small organization, accounting technicians maybe the only trained and qualified finance staff employed. In large corporation, they are crucial part of a balanced team working alongside auditors and management staffs.

In addition, we would like to invite you for the, 2nd CAT examination. It will be on March 12, 2005 at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Pearl Drive, Ortigas, Pasig City from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This time, it will be a three (3) part examination (accounting cycle, payroll, and taxation).
Requirements for the CAT Examination
If you are an Accounting degree graduate, you need NOT attend this program. Instead, you can directly enroll for the CAT examination with the following requirements:
1. Application form (to be sent to you only if you confirm)
2. Resume
3. Trascript of records
If you are NON-accounting degree graduate, you will need to attend the CAT Program which will run for 7 sessions
Same as above requirements are to be provided by the applicants of the program.
