This committee is "under the radar" of the bylaws, AFAIK.

I would certainly remain as the board liaison; I was just speculating
that the committee might be more effective if somebody who was in
regular contact with the various UG members was driving.
FWIW, shredding the current by-laws and re-bootstrapping with a simpler
set (e.g., modeled on the Python Software Foundation's) is the major
priority for the ZF Board over the next quarter.
