Are there any examples of this in action and does it require plone? BZ
CMF Forum is a simple implementation of a Forum based on CMF. It was inspired by ZDiscussions and enhanced with community feedback.
This release fills a big gap were development stopped for 3 months (my fault) and a lot of bugfixes were sitting right there in the CVS begging for a release :)
You can download the new release on the Collective project @ Sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/collective
or straight from this URL:

Latest Changes:
- Anonymous can post by default but cant add Attachments
- Anonymous can set Author and Email fields
- Logged in user gets 'username' as Author and email from preferences
- Security cleanup.
- You can replace default Discussions on CMF by a CMFForum, thanks to Helge Tesdal, who provided a custom funky Discussion Tool replacement.
