Hi everybody, Last week, Infrae has released Silva 0.9.3, a new major release of the Silva CMS. Silva is a (Zope based) web application for content authoring, management and publication - for web, paper, and other media. Content is stored in clean and future-proof formats, independent of layout and presentation, suitable for use in multiple contexts. Silva can also be connected to Word using DocMa: http://www.zope.org/Members/infrae/DocmaWindowsInstaller Silva is completely open source, coming under the very liberal BSD license. Silva 0.9.3 is a major release of Silva. It comes with a large list of changes and bugfixes, including a new Ghost Folder, container title revisions, importing assets from zip files, link object, improved parsing of markup in the Silva structured editor, ip-range based groups, new viewer roles, improved external source mechanism with parameters and caching (to be released separately), improved unit test framework, and numerous improvements and bugfixes. Development-wise it marks start of a changeover from mixins to using Zope3-style adapters. See the HISTORY file for more information about the changes: http://www.zope.org/Members/infrae/Silva/HISTORY.txt Please download the Silva-0.9.3-all.tgz tarball for easy installation, here: http://zope.org/Members/infrae/Silva/Silva-0.9.3/Silva-0.9.3-all.tgz Unpack it into your products directory, add a 'Silva Root' object to your Zope and go to the edit screens by clicking /edit in the Silva root. Due to changes in the content structure this version will not work with existing Silva content without upgrading using the built-in upgrade script.
