I think you're describing the pattern of (contextual) acquisition? :)
Unfortunately, I do have to point to a naming thing: the component lookup methods already support an argument to say where to look for registries: it's called 'context'.
Yes, that's a good point. 'context' is a rather broad term though, perhaps 'acquisition context' would work. :) Regards, Martijn
