So... you're saying that 2.10 isn't going to be released until December 2006, then? That would indeed make the deprecation period longer than 1 year, which seems to have been the intent. You know that the project wikis were always vapourware wikis (find it good or not)...lots of plans before the next release but only a small number of plans will make it into the final release. Likely the dates above were added before we changed to the June/December release cycle.
