I doubt it. I find the vast majority of it's features very useful. I agree that the test discovery is ripe for a revamp.
Note also that Christian Theune also started a major cleanup/reorganization of the testrunner some months ago. Christian can tell you more about the status and future plans for further cleanups. Regards, Martijn
