to add the property prop_id='This is a string' to the document doc_id <dtml-call "doc_id.manage_addProperty('prop_id', 'This is a string', 'string')"> to change that property to 'New string' <dtml-call "doc_id.manage_changeProperties(prop_id='New sting')"> The details are in the API reference under the class ProperySheet.
