I have not heard any other reports of a problem like this, so until we can verify that it is a Zope problem I think that this is a little strong. If other Zopistas can reproduce this I would certainly like to hear about it though.
I can confirm this behaviour with all my catalogaware Z-Classes (~10-15). I NEVER (again) clear a Catalog right now because of that "feature" (from time to time I update the catalog, that's all and works fine) -- Tom Schwaller http://www.linux-magazin.de/
