[Zope-dev] PDB python debugger, watches?

I was wondering if the python wizards out there might have some ideas about making a sorta watch like feature with the python debugger. Maybe everytime the (Pdb) prompt comes up some list of objects is evaluated and contents printed? That way you wouldn't have to type in variable names over and over as you step through the program. Any ideas? Might this be possible with aliases? Am I missing something that already exists? Much thanks in advance...
