I have drafted a new proposal to fix, hopefully once and for all the query-side limitations of ZCatalog. http://dev.zope.org/Wikis/DevSite/Proposals/IndexQuerySet I considered just creating another product that does this, but I felt like it needed to be in the core to achieve maximum usefulness. Please comment.
