How important is the "convert" aspect of this? Would creating a new tree that supports "./configure; make; make install" seem reasonable to you? If so, "zpkg -t -C releases/Zope.cfg" would create the tree, and "cd Zope-0.0.0" would make that the current directory. There is a "hidden" difference here, however: the new tree would be a "Zope 3 release," and would not typically contain everything in the checkout. -Fred -- Fred L.
