xmlrpclib will by default use python's standard library xmllib.py for parsing, which is terribly slow. There is support for an optional C extension, which gave me a 12x speed increase. Check out the source for xmlrpclib.py for pointers. Toby Dickenson tdickenson@geminidataloggers.com
